Cancer Pathways, Northside Hospital, and the GA Department of Public Health has partnered with Girl Scouts to host the Eating for You & Women's Health badge workshops for Middle and High School girls! The 4-hour workshop will cover topics related to living a healthy lifestyle.
Girl Scout Cadettes will: Learn about the importance of nutrition and how it plays a role in a healthy lifestyle. Have an opportunity to ask questions with a nutritionist and other health professionals. Earn the Eating for You badge!
Girl Scout Seniors will: learn more about women's health and how to reduce their cancer risk during their lifetime. The day will include a documentary featuring five women diagnosed with HPV-related cancers and their journeys. Seniors will earn the Women's Health Badge!
Parents and leaders are welcome to stay for a program of their own, but please register - so that we can get an accurate count.
Cost for the event is $15 and will include the badge and some heavy snacks for all participants!
