This training program is for girls age 13-17 with an interested in joining the Three Seasons Volunteer team.

Equestrian Track: This track is open to young women with some previous horseback riding experience. Participants will learn  how to teach younger girls basic horsemanship skills such as grooming, tacking, leading, how to assist riding instructors teaching  lessons in the arena and barn management skills.

Camp Program Track: This track is open to young women with some previous leadership experience. Participants will learn  how to  teach younger girls a variety of program skills, including crafts, outdoors skills, and the ways in which we support our  troop and group guests.

After training, participants can volunteer to work at camp on weekends. All Camp Misty Mountain Staff and volunteers can expect to work in ALL areas of camp when volunteering… this is an excellent opportunity to learn program skills, leadership, customer service, hospitality, and more! Volunteers receive complimentary riding or other program activity time when they work a full day shift.

Participants in this training will need to bring food for lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Payment in full due at time of registration.

Cancellation Policy
  • There is a 10% cancellation fee for all registrants who cancel two weeks or more in advance of the event date.
  • A refund is not issued if registrants cancel less than 14 days from the start of the event.
  • If the council cancels an activity or an event for any reason, a full refund (or event credit) is issued.

 

Refunds are made as follows:

  • Requests must be in writing/email prior to the registration deadline
  • No refunds are issued for registrants who do not attend the program
  • Girl and adult membership registration is non-refundable
