Camp Meriwether
Thank you for your interest in visiting Camp Meriwether with your troop or group!
Camp Meriwether is located in Luthersville, GA (50 miles southwest of Metro Atlanta) and was established in 2001. There are 270 acres of rolling hills, shady woods and open fields.
Housing: primitive camping, air-conditioned cabins, and troop houses for large groups.
- For traditional troop camping you can see availability and start your reservation, by using the calendar feature on the left
- Choose the category of your stay— Overnight
- All our overnight stays begin on Friday, even if you are arriving on Saturday. Choose Friday to reserve a unit for the weekend.
- All reservations require a 25% deposit. If you are registering less than 30 days prior to the event date you will be charge the full fee.
- All adults camping must be registered Girl Scouts and have successfully completed a background check. You will need to complete the Troop Camping Pre-Approval Form 30 days prior to your arrival.
- To request programs while camping (Horseback Riding, canoe etc.) you need to complete the Troop Camping Activities Request Form and the camp team will be in touch with what you have been approved for and times at least 2 weeks prior to your camping date.
- We reserve the right to cancel any activity due to staffing, minimums not being met or weather.
