Come enjoy a family friendly day at Camp Misty Mountain! You can spend time canoeing or kayaking on the lake, fishing from the dock, hiking miles of trails, shooting archery, or just lounging in hammock village. 

This day might look different when compared to other weekends at Misty Mountain because of GSGATL’s guidance regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but we will still have an amazing day at camp! We still love giving girls the chance to experience camp and the outdoors and are striving to make this an experience you’ll love, while keeping everyone safe.

Girl Scout Level: Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior, Ambassador, Adult and siblings

Badges Connection: Junior Trail Adventure, Cadette Trailblazer, Cadette Night Owl, Senior Adventurer, Ambassador Ultimate Recreation Challenge Outdoor Art Master ; Junior, Cadette or Senior Trail Adventure         

Fee: Girls/siblings: $20         Adults: $20          Children 4 and under: Free

Fee includes: Activities, listed in the description, trained and certification staff instruction and support, and a cook-out style lunch option. Additional fee's for crafts. Bring a picnic lunch or buy tickets for a cook-out style lunch

Adult Training Required: None. This is a family event so you are responsible for your own children. All adults will not be registered Girl Scouts or background checked.

Cancellation Policy
  • There is a 10% cancellation fee for all registrants who cancel two weeks or more in advance of the event date.
  • A refund is not issued if registrants cancel less than 14 days from the start of the event.
  • If the council cancels an activity or an event for any reason, a full refund (or event credit) is issued.

    • Refunds are made as follows:

    • Requests must be in writing/email prior to the registration deadline
    • No refunds are issued for registrants who do not attend the program
    • Girl and adult membership registration is non-refundable
