Join fellow volunteers for an afternoon of outdoor fun, networking, and skill-building at our Fireside Chat & Snacks Social 2026. Connect with other outdoor enthusiasts while sharing ideas, learning new skills, and enjoying the camp experience in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Whether you're new to outdoor programming or a seasoned volunteer, this event offers a great opportunity to build connections, exchange resources, and enjoy hands-on activities with friends old and new.

Schedule

3:00 PM - 3:30 PM | Welcome & Networking

Kick off the afternoon with light snacks and refreshments while connecting with fellow volunteers. Activities include:

• Icebreaker and networking questions
• Outdoor SWAPs exchange
• Fire starter demonstrations and ideas
• Crafts and hands-on activities
• Light snacks and refreshments

3:30 PM - 6:00 PM | Outdoor Activity Rotations

Participants will rotate through engaging outdoor skill stations:

Fire Building

• Two activity rotations
• Hands-on practice with fire-building techniques
• Fire safety tips and best practices

Songs & S'mores

• Two activity rotations
• Campfire songs and traditions
• Fellowship and community building around the campfire

Optional Camp Experiences

Depending on availability, participants may also enjoy:
