We want YOU! To join us as a Coach for Girl Scouts as they work to earn their Gold Award. Coaches have a special volunteer designation to work one-on-one with girls, serving as a cheerleader and a mentor to navigate the Gold Award process.

Coaches support girls in building project ideas, creating a project proposal, following Girl Scout Guidelines AND Taking Action!

This training will provide you with all the information that you need to get started and be successful along the way.

By the end of this training, you will be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the Coach's role.
• Demonstrate an understanding of completing the proposal and final report forms.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the guidelines, policies, and procedures of the Gold Award process.
• Understand how to distinguish a Community Service project from a Take Action project.
