Spend the weekend at beautiful Camp Misty Mountain in Armuchee, GA. Come as just the two of you or get all the troop dads in on the action.

Girl Scouts and their dads, uncles, grandfathers, or the special men in their lives will enjoy primitive camping “festival-style” in your own tent, camper, reserve a room in a cabin or a platform tent for your family group. Fire rings, shelters, water spigots, picnic tables, pit latrines, port-a-potties, and showers are available for our primitive campers. Bring your own traditional camping equipment (portable grill/smoker, propane stove) or go old school and build an old-fashioned campfire to make your meals. Our traditional Breakfast Buffet will be available for an additional fee of $12.00 per person, all you can eat on Sunday morning.

Make lasting memories while trying fun activities for the weekend that may include candle making, screen printing, tie-dye, rock climbing, hiking, fishing, leather making, archery, and canoeing at no additional cost. You can also sign up to participate in a Horseback Riding Trail Ride for girls (4th grade and above in membership year 2021-2022) and adults or Adult-Led Pony Ride for girls (K-3rd grade in membership year 2021-2022) for an additional charge.

Accommodations:

Family Cabin $85 per person - 17 cabin rooms are dedicated to individual dad and daughter pairs. Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases we will no longer allow families to share sleeping rooms. There are two bathrooms in each cabin unit. Kitchens and bathrooms will be shared. Masks will be required indoors at all times.

Platform Tents $75 per person - Platform tents in Beeches, Pasture Ridge and Sweet Gum Hollow units are large walled canvas tents with wooden floors and four cots with mattresses. There are 15 platform tents with 4 beds in each tent within our three tent units. Platform tents can only be shared by family members/family pods. 

Screened-In Cabin $75 per person - Hill Top has three screened-in cabins with 8 beds in each one. Each screened-in cabin can only be shared by family members/family pods.

 Bring your Own Tent $65 per person - Three open fields are dedicated to guests who want to bring their own tent or camper. Choose where you want to stay when you arrive at camp:

  • Pear Tree Pasture: A smaller pasture near canoe beach and the archery range. This is a very popular location and just a short bike or walk away from activities.
  • Open Pasture: The largest of the three fields where most of our campers pitch tents.
  • Lower Pasture: Reserved for our larger RVs and anyone with a generator. This space is next to Farmhouse and the farthest from the camp activities area.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not a campground and do not have power, water, or sewer hookups for RV’s. Small campers, such as pop-ups and pick-up trucks, are allowed in the lower pasture. If you have a large recreation vehicle or any vehicle with a generator, you will be restricted to Lower Pasture. There are specific time frames for generator use. You may not pitch a tent in a cabin or platform tent unit.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Fees:
* If you cancel 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date a refund, less 25% of the total fees will be refunded.
* If you cancel less then 14 days before your arrival: no refunds issues unless due to illness or injury, a doctors note is required.
* You may cancel an activity and get a refund (i.e. horseback riding or breakfast) if done 14 days prior to your arrival. If done less then 14 days it will depend if we can fill the space.
