Camp like a girl! Spend the weekend at camp learning about the outdoors and what makes the outdoors special. Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes will work on their Outdoor Journeys. The weekend will include: building an shelter, hiking, Leave No Trace principles and practices, cooking over a campfire and building your own outdoor first aid kit. Girls will develop an understanding and appreciation of the environment that surrounds us.
This is a troop event or individual event! Troops must have a troop leader to supervise and Juliettes and individuals must have a parent or guardian. All adults must be registered Girl Scouts with a background check.
This weekend might look different when compared to other weekends at Misty Mountain because of GSGATL’s guidance regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but we will still have an amazing weekend! We still love giving girls the chance to experience camp and the outdoors and are striving to make this an experience you’ll love, while keeping everyone safe.
