Come join us for a weekend of backpacking and primitive camping skills. We will focus on the skills you will need to build a shelter, cook using a backpacking stove and campfire, select and set up a a campsite, and live by the Leave No Trace Principles. This weekend will complete the camping portion of the Outdoor Journey and support the Trail Adventures Badge.
This event is open to Juliettes, troops, or girls with a guardian!
This weekend might look different when compared to other weekends at Misty Mountain because of GSGATL’s guidance regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but we will still have an amazing weekend! We still love giving girls the chance to experience camp and the outdoors and are striving to make this an experience you’ll love, while keeping everyone safe.
