Outdoor Series 2: Learn the skills for First Aid and Emergency Preparation in the wilderness. How do you take care of yourself and prevent injuries when you are primitive camping or backpacking? What should we do if someone goes missing or gets hurt and there is no phone service? Spend the weekend exploring emergency protocols and earning our first aid badges. Participants do not have to have attended Outdoor Series 1.
Adult participants are expected to be engaged in getting their First Aid or WFA (Wilderness First Aid) certificates.
This event is open to Juliettes, troops, or girls with a guardian!
This weekend might look different when compared to other weekends at Misty Mountain because of GSGATL’s guidance regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but we will still have an amazing weekend! We still love giving girls the chance to experience camp and the outdoors and are striving to make this an experience you’ll love, while keeping everyone safe.
