Have your Girl Scouts participated in everyday outdoor adventures, like exploring nature in a nearby park? Are they looking for new ways to get outside? This intermediate outdoor council class will prepare you to plan and facilitate a safe and exciting cabin camping trip, including immersive learning opportunities to build a campfire and practice stick cooking.

This class is for: Adult volunteers

This class takes place outdoors. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Cancellation Policy
Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet minimum enrollment numbers. If a class is cancelled, we will work with the participant to find an alternate class or refund the enrollment fee. If you need to cancel your enrollment, please send an email to training@gsgatl.org. Cancellations made up to 10 days before the class will receive a full refund. Participants are welcome to reschedule their classes if needed, at no cost. To reschedule your enrollment, please send an email to training@gsgatl.org.
