Get ready to stretch, squeeze, squish, and discover! Squishy Science is a hands-on STEM adventure where curiosity meets creativity. Participants will explore the fascinating science behind all things sticky, stretchy, and squishy through interactive experiments, behind the scenes lab tours, and more!

Logistics:  

This experience will feature behind-the-scenes tours into 4 different Emory labs.  You'll be able to select your tour and activity schedule upon arrival- more details about options will be sent out prior to the experience.  Please wear closed-toed shoes for safety inside the labs.  Most activities will happen indoors, with brief outside walks between buildings.  Please note a small parking fee may apply, depending on the specific lot you park in.  

Audience: 

This program is for Juniors and Cadettes (grades 4-8).  Each Girl Scout must be accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian, or Troop Leader), within typical safety ratios. This event is for Girl Scout Troops and families to participate together. Siblings and friends within the same age range are welcome to join; please include them in the registration.   

Pricing: 

Thanks to our partners at Emory, we are able to offer this event at a reduced cost. Due to the nature of this program, participating adults will incur the same fee as Girl Scouts. Adults will be able to participate alongside their Girl Scouts in this activity and will utilize the same supplies and equipment. We encourage you to be ENGAGED, let your GIRL SCOUT take the LEAD, and HAVE FUN!
