Want to learn more about outdoor skills, outdoor adventure sports, and your environment? During this event girls will get climb to new heights on the challenge course, learn about fire building and shelter building, use a compass, make a snack over a fire, and of course participate in archery. After dinner, girls will participate in a Survivor themed scavenger hunt! Girls will leave camp having gained more knowledge of their outdoor surroundings, a new outdoor skill, and having met new Girl Scout friends!
This weekend might look different when compared to other weekends at Timber Ridge because of GSGATL’s guidance regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but we will still have an amazing weekend! We still love giving girls the chance to experience camp and the outdoors and are striving to make this an experience you’ll love, while keeping everyone safe.
