DESCRIPTION:Discover the exciting world of interior design at a SCAD workshop exclusively for Girl Scouts! This hands-on experience explores the art and science of interior architecture, demonstrating how thoughtful design can improve spaces where we work, learn, heal, and play! Participants will explore the scientific connections between human behavior and interior environments while engaging in activities like material selection and design conception. They'll learn how color, light, texture, and form come together to create beautiful, functional interiors. Join us for a fun, educational adventure that sparks creativity and innovation! \n \n \n This workshop will feature engaging hands-on activities delivered by Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) instructors. This program is for Cadette, Senior & Ambassador Girl Scouts (6th-12th grade). This workshop will be hosted at SCAD's Atlanta campus and will include a campus tour and pizza lunch (included in the registration cost). Each Girl Scout must be accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian, or Troop Leader) within standard GS safety ratios. Siblings within the same age range are welcome; please include them in this registration. Space is limited so register today! All questions can be directed to us at sfant@gsgatl.org. \n \n \n SCAD prepares talented students for creative professions through engaged teaching and learning in a positively oriented university environment. SCAD offers more than 100 degree programs. With the flexibility of our programs, you can begin your journey at one location and continue it at another. It's an incredible opportunity to explore different cultures and absorb a variety of artistic perspectives without interrupting your progress in completing your degree.
