DESCRIPTION:Get ready to saddle up for a weekend full of horses, laughter, and confidence-building fun! The EmpowHER Equestrian Weekend is an exciting horseback experience for Juniors through Ambassadors, and it's all about learning, teamwork, and unlocking your inner strength. During this exciting weekend you will receive riding instructions, play horseback games, and work as a team to create and compete in an in-hand horse obstacle course.   \n  \n  \n Girl Scout Level: Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (Grades 4-12) \n  \n  \n  \n Badge Connection: Junior Horseback Riding \n  \n  \n Girl Fee: $170     Adult Fee: $95 \n  \n  \n  \n Fee Includes: Activities, 4 meals (3 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday), all supplies for staff-led and self-guided programs, staffing for activities, cabin housing for the weekend. \n  \n  \n  \n Adult training required: Each troop attending must have at least one adult who has completed the Council Sponsored Events Learning Path and First Aid/CPR. \n  \n  \n The Council Sponsored Events Learning Path includes the following training in gsLearn: \n  \n • Safety First \n  \n • Day Trips and Overnights \n  \n All adults attending the event (including parents and guardians) must be registered Girl Scouts and have successfully completed a background check. \n  \n   \n  \n Safety Activity Checkpoint Ratios: This event is open to troops or Girl Scouts and Juliettes with a guardian. We may be required to limit the number of adults required according to Volunteer Essentials ratio on page 5 of the Safety Activity Checkpoints to allow maximum Girl Scout participation. Each troop must have two unrelated female adults in attendance at all times. An additional adult may be added for transportation needs. \n  \n   \n  \n Payment Schedule: A 25% deposit of event fees is due at the time of registration. Payments must be made in full no later than 30 days prior to the event date. Late payments risk cancellation. Auto pay option available at checkout. \n  \n   \n  \n Financial Assistance: In order to remove financial barriers to participation in Girl Scouts, limited funds are available to cover some expenses.
