DESCRIPTION:Join us for a heartwarming camping experience that brings Girl Scouts and their dads, uncles, grandfathers, or the special men in their lives together through the magic of the outdoors. Whether you're an experienced camper or trying it for the first time, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The weekend is limited to Girl Scouts and the male father figure in their life. Please see the Family Weekend to bring your whole family.  \n  \n  \n Spend quality time roasting marshmallows, sharing stories around the campfire, exploring scenic trails, creating crafts, and participating in fun team challenges designed for all ages. Pre-registration is required for High Challenge Course with Zipline and Giant Swing activities for an additional fee (see details below). This year, families can also put their culinary skills to the test in our exciting Chili Cook-Off. Do you have the best chili recipe? Enter the competition and see if your chili takes home first place! \n  \n  \n  \n  \n All participants, day or weekend will provide all their own meals. \n  \n  \n The fun begins with check-in at 8 a.m. and goes through till 7 p.m. \n  \n  \n Campfire Connections celebrates togetherness by encouraging fathers/male father figures and their Girl Scout(s) to work as a team, try new experiences, and recognize one another’s unique strengths. Guided by the values of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, this program helps build confidence, cooperation, and a sense of belonging in a supportive, welcoming camp environment. \n  \n  \n Create lasting memories, strengthen family bonds, and enjoy a weekend filled with adventure, laughter, and connection in the great outdoors. \n  \n  \n **This is a parent/Girl Scout event. We do not require background checks on all adults attending. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision and care of their Girl Scout and family. Please plan to supervise your child(ren) as you would in any other public situation (such as at an amusement park or public campground). \n  \n  \n Fee: $105 per person \n  \n  \n Challenge Course Activities: (pre-registration required) \n  \n  \n High Challenge with Zipline - Girl Scouts in 4th -12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year and the Guys - Participants will climb 20–35 feet above the ground and tackle at least two different high challenge elements before experiencing the excitement of soaring through the air on our supervised zipline. Come challenge yourself, build confidence, and experience the thrill of adventure in a safe and encouraging environment!. Cost: $40 per participant. \n  \n  \n Giant Swing - Girl Scouts in grades 2nd -12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year and their Guys - Get ready for an unforgettable thrill on our Giant Swing! Participants will soar through the air as they experience the excitement of swinging high above the ground in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you're looking to challenge yourself, build confidence, or simply enjoy an exhilarating adventure, the Giant Swing is sure to be a highlight of your day.
