Are you working on your Silver or Gold Award? 

Come work with professionals from your community to develop yourself as a leader.  There are five two - hour interactive sessions (one per month) that will enable you to develop your communication and leadership skills. Participants that attend all five sessions will receive a certificate of completion.  All girls that participate in any workshop will be awarded the total amount of hours completed.   This will go towards your required hours for the High Award you are pursuing.

February 22

Overcome the Fears of Public Speaking

In this session, the presenter will be covering skills to learn to speak in public confidently and creating an Elevator Speech to introduce yourself and your Project Idea.

 

April 20

How to Leverage the High Awards for future use (College, Career, Military, Entrepreneurial)

In this session, the presenter will be teaching you how to use the Gold Award as a benefit for your future.  This includes sharing what schools are looking for in a potential student to include resume writing skills

 

May 9

How to Connect with Your Community to Network, Build and Work with Your Team

In this session, the presenter will share how to connect with your community and create a network and learn how to build your Gold Award Team with quality members

 

 

Meeting with Organizations for Partnerships to identify Valid Community Needs

In this session, the presenter will teach you how to partner with reputable organizations through Community Service to learn of Valid Community Needs, which will lead you to Taking Action beyond their service

Managing Your Time and Getting Organized

In this session, the presenter will teach the importance of being organized and effectively managing your time.
